Jinan University

The youth who believe in education and the scholars who look for specialized and encyclopedic knowledge are the pillars of nations and the premises of their civilizations. Based on these facts, Jinan University was founded in 1988. Jinan University was officially licensed by the Lebanese Republican Decree no. 1948 in 1999. So it has become a higher educational institution rewarding academic official degrees of all levels: Bachelor, Honor, Master’s, and PhD Degrees.

Jinan has an elite academic and administrative staff using modern curricula, methodology and technology recognized worldwide. Technology has been used to form a complete academic program addresses the requirements of the twenty first century students and scholars, consistent with the standards of the quality of education on national and international levels.

Jinan University is located in the capital of the North of Lebanon, Tripoli. Nevertheless, the university attracts students from all Lebanon including Beirut. This encouraged the university administration to work hard to open new classrooms in Sidon. The university took this initiative to help the students evade the fatigue of travel and the costs of living away from home. The hard work continues to open new branches in the other Lebanese areas.

Main Campus

The Main Campus is one of the prominent premises of knowledge in Tripoli. The buildings maintain the spirit of the past and heritage with an updating spirit of modernity. Yet, this is not enough without the strategic location of the main campus away from the noise, pollution and crowdedness of the city center. The Main Campus lies in the olive fields of Abi Samraa; on a plateau where the Mediterranean reflects sunshine, green hills and White Mountains stretch around.

Classrooms in Sidon:

Like the Main Campus, the branch in Sidon has modern teaching equipment, facilities and services. The natural landscape embraces the building there. Starting with the classrooms which are equipped with all modern teaching tools; moving to the studio which is prepared for the future journalists and anchors; reaching the administrative section, all professionalism and efforts are exerted to help the students have a lifetime of educational experience.

The two-story building is designed as the most prestigious community colleges around the world, not only through design, but also the location in Baramiya where it is close to the city center yet away from its noise.

Sports facilities are also part and parcel of the university life in Sidon branch. The students enjoy a large court for different types of sports like soccer, basketball, and tennis.

After an interesting lecture or match, nothing equals a cup of tea or a delicious meal. The Cafeteria, with its internal and external parts, serves the students with many kinds of food and drinks during the breaks.

The students, visitors, or employees never face problems finding parking lots for their cars. This is due to the wide space for all vehicles and the organization of the harmonious teamwork in the Sidon branch.
