Faculty of Pharmacy

Faculty’s Mission Statement

Regarding the lack of faculties of Pharmacy in universities from in the North of Lebanon and the need to revive the North scientifically and academically to answer society’s needs, the faculty of Pharmacy was established at Jinan University.

The goals of the faculty of Pharmacy can be summarized in the following points:

To form highly qualified pharmacists
To activate pharmaceutical industries in Lebanon
To develop research and teaching methods and to provide scientific publication in the field of pharmacy
To cooperate scientifically with the different Faculties of Pharmacy of Arab and foreign universities

The faculty comprises a highly qualified academic staff holding PhDs and the University‘s library is supplied with the latest references in the field of Pharmacy.

The laboratory is equipped with special equipment and materials to train students in pharmaceutical work.

Degrees

The faculty grants a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy.

After graduation

After the completion of five academic years, the student earns a Bachelor Degree that enables him to open a private pharmacy or to pursue his studies specializing in medical analysis, which allows him to open a private medical lab to teach in universities or to work in clinics, hospitals, or pharmaceutical laboratories or companies.
