Registration Requirements

1. To hold a B.A./Honors degree with a minimum GPA: Good (60%) to pursue a teaching Diploma/ Master’s Degree

2. To hold a Master’s Degree with a minimum GPA: Good (60%)[Please refer to Miss Doha] to join the Ph.D program.

3. The specialty has to be compatible with the previous specialty (B.A. and M.A.)

- When the GPA is below GOOD (requirements 1 or 2) or the student wants to change his/her specialty (requirement 3) in the postgraduate program, he/she has to attend a remedial year of study. In the remedial year, the student studies a number of additional subjects determined by the academic committee. This year is meant to enable the student to continue his/her study in the new field.

Period of Study

Remedial Year:
Minimum one academic year over two semesters

Honors/Teaching Diploma:
Minimum one academic year over two semesters

Master’s:

- two academic years over four semesters( Minimum) after the Bachelor Degree

- one academic year over two semesters after the Honors Degree

Ph.D:

Three academic years over six semesters minimum
